This regal little lady is Chachita! "Cha Cha" has a thick, black-speckled tan coat with an adorable swirl on her neck and shoulders. She also wears dainty white socks. She will push in for full body pets and make a luxurious, content groaning sound when receiving gentle rubs on her little head and ears. This sweet mama is ready to get back out in the world and spread a whole lotta love around!
Chachita came into the program after her guardian moved into assisted living and could no longer care for her. A friend of the guardian took in Chachita and would often take her to visit her guardian. Chachita was in desperate need of a dental and extensive oral treatment, but the procedure was far too expensive for the friend and the guardian. When they considered euthanizing her instead, the vet called POMDR. We offered to take her into our program, get her the vet care she needed, and find her a new forever home.
